I did it, I bought a four seater stroller. YIKES!!!!
It is the only way to get som exercise. So I found this beauty on good ole CL.
the picture does not show how nasty this thing was. I really want to learn to sew and reupholster, so I thought this would be a great item to practice on. So I completely took the stroller apart and had at it. After many many hours of sewing and mistakes and cutting and re sewing, I think she turned out all right,(far from perfect) but all right. Have a great Sunday Linked sistersofthewildwest talent-tuesday |

ReplyDeleteYou are awesome! I found this from http://betterafter.blogspot.com/. I am so impressed with your skills!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! It looks awesome. Looks like you have a talent for reupholstering! Lol. Way cuter than any you could buy brand new :)
ReplyDeleteThat is fabulous. I mean wow! So many baby things are so ugly, especially on a budget, and I would never have thought of doing this.
ReplyDeleteWOW ! That is some ambitious first project and it looks amazing! I love the non-traditional fabric choices and details - really, really great job!

Beautiful job! And I like how you used coordinating fabrics for a really fun look.
ReplyDeleteI recognize that great indoor/outdoor floral fabric :) I used it on a loveseat not long ago (different color-way with the light blue background).
I *love* this!!! Your fabric choices are so perfect. I would have never thought to re-do a stroller...very, very nice!!! Found you from the "better after" blog. :)
ReplyDeleteseriously what would u charge to redo mine please please and please again..you did an awesome job
ReplyDeleteFar from perfect? You can't tell from the pictures. It came out awesome. I would have enjoyed a breakdown of the project though. with pictures of different sections that you had to sew, and problems you ran into, or things you learned along the way.
ReplyDeleteAmazing work!
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning makeover!!! I don't have kids (yet) so I usually pass over the kiddie makeovers (just so I don't get tempted to buy random crap at garage sales, etc.) but this made me gasp out loud it was so fantastic. I would be freaking proud to push that stroller - it looks great and you reupholstered it all by yourself. Job well done!!!
ReplyDeleteunbelievable job!!! That is one chic quad stroller!!
ReplyDeleteWow you did such a good job! Amazing! All you're revamps are wonderful. I wish I was that creative lol.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to let you know I nominated you for the Liebster Blog award!! You can check out the full details on my blog at http://temporarywaffle.blogspot.com/2012/08/yay-for-liebster-blog-award.html
I just bought the exact same stroller used! Mine has also seen better days. Do you have any more details about how you did this?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking to buy this same stroller off CL and may also try re-doing it now that i see how awesome yours came out! But how do you like this stroller? pushing it with 4 kids, is it holding up well??
ReplyDeleteGood morning, I loved the stroller, at times all six of my kids would squeeze in. The only complaint I have is if you have hills, you will be using it on, because it gets very heavy if it is full. Other than that we used ours all of the time, with kids ranging for six to newborn. We had it for about three years.Hope that helps. Kathryn
