This was a labor of love and many hours of work, but I loved how it turned out. Thanks to the inspiration from the graphics fairy.

  23. Please let us know how you enlarged it and what medium you used to paint it. We are all inspired and would like to create something that stunning, maybe not on a piano, but on whatever we have. Please give us an idea of the process you went through to create this treasure! painterofflowers@hotmail.com

  25. I am seriously impressed woman! If I still lived in Gilbert, AZ we could possibly have been friends, and I'd have loaded up my 3 buggars into the car to see what good finds we could find! But, alas, I'm in North, Idaho now and have to haggle prices from all the hoarders who think their stuff is worth much more than it truly is, and thus, not many 'good finds' :( Love the inspiration your sending across the web! Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to checking back in in the future :D

  26. This is gorgeous! I saw this on Better After. As a musician, interior decorator and wife of a Registered Piano Technician, I'm just wondering two things. Did you have a qualified technician remove the playing "mechanisms" before painting and two, has the piano been rebuilt to play as it did when it was new? We've painted several pianos. We take great care in making sure no paint goes where it's not supposed to. But most of all, I'm excited to do another piano now with your great inspiration! Beeeeeooooteeeeeful! :-)
