I found this little mess on the side of the road, and was so excited to bring her home. She found a home quickly, with a sweet woman, who wanted a custom look. I LOVE how she turned out.

That's just beautiful - love the transfers - how did you ever manage to transfer an image in the inside of the drawers?

This little chest is as cute as can be!!! It's the kind of piece that could travel around the house, being used in so many different ways.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower and I hope you'll stop by for a visit.

That is gorgeous and how clever to put the graphics inside the drawers! What method did you use to transfer the graphic? I just tried the mod podge technique and am not loving it.

ReplyDeleteThe graphics really add to her charm. So glad you were able to save her.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Would love to know how you did the image on top of the dresser. Was it an image transfer, and if so, what medium did you use? Or, did you do a CitraSolv transfer, graphite paper, or other method??? Thanks in advance!
ReplyDeletePLEASE -What method did you use to transfer the graphic?
ReplyDeleteAre there any answers to the questions asked here?? ♥♡♥
ReplyDeleteLove this! And I too would love to know the transfer method you used...does anyone here know yet??? I too have tried Mod Podge method...its just ok...doesn't look like the messy mod podge method...looks sooo much better. Would love to know how to transfer on wood!
ReplyDeleteHello, thank you for stopping by. Sorry I was emailing people back, I forget sometimes about the reply on here. I actually used an overhead projector for this entire project. I have tried the other methods, I like them they just don't seem to be as clean. I hope this helps. I am happy to answer any other questions as well. Have a wonderful day. Kathyryn
DeleteWhat a lucky find! - and you've turned the ugly duckling into a beautiful swan!! when you use the overhead projector, do you use paint and brush to make the image or some sort of marker?~it looks so tidy, you must have a steady hand.
ReplyDeleteI actually used latex paint and a small brush on this. Sometimes I use paint pens, but usually just a brush.
DeleteThis is just lovely! What a great find and makeover! Thanks for sharing how you did the transfer. I am planning to try something like this in the future.....in fact, hubby just acquired an overhead projector for me!
