oak

I picked this beauty up at a a garage sale. Looks like someone started a redo and gave up.

So I stripped her down to the bare wood, and gave her a walnut stain, with some white drawers.
I chose a graphic for the front oak-leaves-with-acorns. from the Graphics Fairy, which I hand painted.

  6. This dresser looks fantastic! I found your site via Graphics Fairy where I just linked up. I can't believe you paint all of the graphics BY HAND! I have a fairly steady hand, but I'm not sure I could manage all of the detailing. Have you ever tried using a series of permanent markers instead of paint & brush? I find that they are SO MUCH faster and have a similiar effect. If nothing else, they help to speed up project completion time! I'd love to see a project you try with permanent marker! Thanks for the inspiration on your blog - you can check out mine at www.faygraysonhome.blogspot.com
